Why there is something in nothing

DAY OFF! DAY OFF! Dee-deedee-diddly-dee.

Well, it's not exactly a day off. I spent the early part of my Sunday launching off emails concerning the two shows I'm directing and ignoring the growing tension in my neck and shoudlers. Omen, anyone?

But for the rest of the day, I plan to lounge and do an epic Doctor Who catch-up; later, I'm off to Telli's for some girly catch-up. Even though it's only been a few days since I've last seen the ladies, it feels like eons. Catching up with friends is the greatest re-charger!

And boy do I anticipate that my batteries will be running on low for the next little while. Therefore, I'm grateful for days like these where I don't have to wake up to grating trill of my alarm clock. Days where I can lounge in bed, all lazy and grungy, and not have to shower until...well, I should eventually get to that sometime today.

If it were not for these mindless, lazy Sundays, we would all be running ourselves into the ground. It really is important to do NOTHING something; to turn everything off and be distracted by some goddawful reality TV or by your cat obnoxiously hogging your comfy duvet.

Dont' get me wrong, I look forward to throwing myself back into Monday madness - where I return to the wonderfully crazy world of interning for Canada's top casting director - but I don't want to think about it for now. I just. Want to. Do. Nothing.

And that's exactly what I plan to do.
